Trial Dates

Unfortunately due to recent weather HSHS fields are unable to be used for skill/game sessions for some sports. See updated schedule below, including date/time/venue and transport changes. This page will be updated with any further changes. Please check carefully, up to and including on trial days, for last-minute changes and contact the school if you have any questions. 

Hunter Sports High School stages two separate trial periods each year. 

  • Year 7, 2026 intake: Applications open 6 February 2025 and close 2 May 2025. Trials will be held from 19 May-4 June 2025 (sport specific dates below). 
  • Year 8 -11, 2026 intake: Applications open 2 June 2025 and close 25 July 2025. Trials will be held 4-6 August 2025. The Year 8-11 trial schedule will be listed below at the completion of our Year 7 trial process.
