Our Enrolment Procedures

Sports Academy Enrolment

If your child wishes to apply to be enrolled in one of our Sports Academy programs, please complete the  ‘Sports Academy Application to Trial’, located in the Sports Academy section of this website.

There you can also view details of the selection procedure, online application to trial requirements and key dates. Should your child be successful at trial they will be offered enrolment at Hunter Sports High School.

Online enrolment can also be used for out-of-area enrolment. Please note that out-of-area enrolment procedures are subject to the department’s enrolment policy.

Every child has the right to access quality public education in their local community. If you live in our local intake area, start your journey to join our vibrant school community today. Follow these key steps:

1. Check your eligibility:  use School Finder to confirm if your address is within our local intake area.
2. Read:  other enrolment details for our school.
3. Apply online:  complete our online enrolment application.

School contributions

In NSW public schools, all financial contributions are voluntary. Every student has full access to the curriculum, regardless of whether contributions are made.
