• make payments quickly and securely
• view academic reports
• book parent and teacher interviews
• record absences.
• view student work and results.

Access Key Issues?

If you can't find your family key please email hunterspt-h.school@det.nsw.edu.au with the following details:

• Subject: Portal Access Key
• Content: your STUDENTS FULL NAME/S and the FULL NAMES OF PARENT/S requiring access.

CANVAS

For monitoring student academic progress and achievment.

Log-in to the CANVASor:

• Download CANVAS on Google Play
• Download CANVAS on the Apple Store

Parents must have an active Sentral account to access Canvas.

Parent Access to Canvas

Parents can access Canvas through the link provided on this page or through the Sentral Parent Portal. The following steps will assist in getting setup in Canvas:

If you have previously linked your child in the Sentral Parent Portal you can skip steps 1 & 2.

1. Connect your child in Sentral Parent Portal using the family key sent to you - search for Access Key in your emails.
2. Sentral will sync with Canvas overnight - you will need to wait until the next day to proceed further.
3. Login to Canvas from within the Sentral Parent Portal or Parent Access link on this site.
4. The first time you go to Canvas click on forgot password and enter your parent portal email address.
5. You will be sent an email from Canvas to reset your password, please follow the directions in this email.
6. When you login to Canvas do not use the Login with Microsoft button, this is only for staff and students.
