Hunter Sports High School is excited to welcome Felicity Wilsmore and Infinity Physio to support our Sports Academy students.
Felicity would like to take this opportunity to formally introduce herself.
She is a mother of three young people and has extensive experience working in the sporting world. Her background spans playing, coaching, Sports Training, Strength and Conditioning Coaching, Personal Training, and Physiotherapy. She has worked across a wide range of sports, including basketball, netball, cricket, soccer, rugby, water polo, swimming, hockey, athletics, and tennis.
Felicity has strong connections with medical professionals and is able to refer for imaging, as well as collaborate with Sports Physicians and Orthopaedic Surgeons when required.
She is passionate about working with youth athletes during such a pivotal stage of life. Growth spurts, hormonal changes, and often high sporting loads can contribute to various injuries. While injuries and setbacks can be challenging, she believes that through education and focusing on what can be done, these periods can become opportunities for growth and strengthening other areas.
Felicity recognises that considering and managing the athlete as a whole is imperative to their success both on and off the sporting arena. She understands firsthand the importance of effective communication between athletes, parents, coaches, teams, and teachers, and looks forward to helping implement strong systems that enhance collaborative communication.
She founded Infinity Physio with the vision of empowering the community to achieve optimal physical health and wellbeing. Through personalised, evidence-based physiotherapy care, she aims to foster a supportive environment where every client is educated, engaged, and inspired to live a pain-free, active life.
Felicity is very excited to offer onsite physiotherapy services at Hunter Sports.
We look forward to working with Felicity and benefiting from her extensive knowledge, professionalism, and experience to provide assessment, treatment, and management of injuries for many of our Sports Academy athletes.
Appointments are held at Hunter Sports High School on:
- Mondays: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
